Pet Portrait Prices

I work with 1 size, 1 price.   The price is for head and shoulders with a white background.  If you want a soft color background, there is no charge.  However, if you want a specific background, scarfs, play toys, etc., there will be an extra charge of $50 plus depending on the complexity.

 Price for a Single pet in portrait, head and shoulders with no background (full body will be considered if it fits into the composition):
 

-8"x10 Painting matted to finish 11"x14" frame size  $190

  (11"x14" is a standard frame size)

-Please contact me if you need a special size

The Painting will be shipped in a sturdy box via USPS Priority Mail with tracking.

Add $100 for each additional pet in the same painting.

 

Each one of my custom pet portraits are unique and one of a kind. If you want two or three dogs in the same painting, I will need a photograph of both or all of them in the same picture so that I can get a comparison of size.  Then, I can use the individual photographs of each pet to work from (unless, of course, the photograph with all the pets in one comes out great, I will use that).

 

Just email me several pictures to choose from- preferably close ups of the head so I can get detail.  Or, you can mail me the photographs, and I will return them when I am finished.  I have some helpful tips on photographing animals on this website.  Please keep in mind, the better the photo, the better the painting.

I use 140 lb. Arches high quality archival watercolor paper and archival mats.  And, your painting will come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
 

Please allow 3-4 weeks for completion.  *I require a $50 non-refundable deposit to get your pet portrait on my calendar.  Extra time is required for the months September through December.  Rush orders will be considered for an extra fee of $50.  My guarantee is if you don't like it, I keep the painting and the deposit and you don't have to buy it.

 

As always, a portion of the proceeds from every painting I create goes to a No-Kill Animal Rescue Organization.
